What You Need:

1. One clear, plastic wine glass
2. Old newspapers
3. Permanent felt-tip markers in several colors
4. A spray can of lacquer

What You Do:

1. Place the old newspapers on your work surface.
2. Color the entire outside surface of the glass, including the stem, with permanent felt-tip markers (you can draw figures also).
3. When the cup is dry, spray the outside with a light coat of lacquer. Be sure to follow the painting instructions on the can. You can find cans of lacquer in hobby or hardware stores. When the laquer dries, the plastic will be dull, and it should look like delicate blown glass
4. Wash the cup by hand before using it. The inside should be clean and shiny.
